By downloading, installing, or using Vidi (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Vidi is a media player designed for macOS. It allows users to play video files stored locally on their device, stream videos from URLs, and cast content to supported devices (AirPlay, DLNA, Chromecast). The App does not host or provide any video content. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to play using the App.
Payment: Vidi is free to download. Optional “Pro” features are unlocked by a single one-time purchase made inside the App. Payment will be charged to your Apple Account at the confirmation of purchase.
No subscription: The Pro unlock is a one-time purchase. There is no recurring charge, no auto-renewal, and nothing to cancel.
Restoring: Your purchase is tied to your Apple Account. You can restore it on any Mac you own using “Restore Purchased” in the App’s Pro window.
Refunds: Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are made through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
EULA: Your use of the App is also governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to view any content you play through the App, whether local or streamed.
The App itself, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Vidi and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
The App is provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
